Javier Sicilia requires ending in Mexico violence at the March for Peace
Monday, May 9, 2011
Four days ago he began his walk from the city of Cuernavaca ahead of the March for Peace and Justice. A contingent of 500 persons followed him on foot and as they entered the base of Mexico City had about 90 thousand people. The poet who lost his son at the hands of organized crime came to the Plaza of the Constitution and the metropolitan cathedral bells rang up to seven minutes. White balloons were released on behalf of more than 35 000 deaths in recent years by the war against drug trafficking that supports the federal government against organized crime.
