Veracruz, Ver-Residents of the city came this morning to march for Zamora Park Avenue Independence to the Zocalo in protest against violence in the country following the fight against organized crime.
In support of the poet Javier Sicilia, the Veracruz who have been affected by violence in the port also came to demand a change in strategy by President Felipe Calderón.
The protesters, dressed mostly in white, carrying banners and posters with slogans, marched from the Zócalo Zamora Park City demanding a change in the strategy of Calderón.

The protest was led, however, by people linked to the PRD, the party that is bankrupt in Veracruz, and what was taken wrong by some, people without party affiliation, they saw that the PRD tried to use the march as a place to regain share in the media.
